December 21st is here in a bit. It is the darkest day of the year in Sweden. In yoga, people often describe the mula Banda as gateways. But What does Mula Bandha activation really feel like?from personal experience I describe mula bandha as a rhythmic pulse, analogous to the movement of jellyfish rising from the perineum through the internal arches of the body ( namely the diaphragm, roof of mouth and pineal.) if practiced correctly and aligned to breath ( ujjayi) you will feel this pulse spiralling from the inner arches of the feet ( between the Water & Fire acupressure points), pure rhythmic Shakti rising.
